I sincerely doubt that they'll allow UI modding. What with planning to release the game on Console (XBOX360) as well.
I kinda liked the functional minimalistic approach to the game myself.
Oh, and the advanced features, such as the HUD Rose aren't in here. You can play with almost no visible UI at all.
